Barclays Premier League Works Project at the Lifestyle Centre

City in the Community have linked up with Wythenshawe Community Housing Group to run the ‘Barclays Premier League Works’ programme for young people in Wythenshawe.

The sessions will run every Thursday at the Lifestyle Centre, commencing on Thursday 4th February 2016 at 10am. (9.30am arrival.)

‘Barclays Premier League Works Project’ is a Premier League and Barclays initiative delivered by City in the Community and is aimed at participants aged between 16 – 24years who are currently not in training, education or employment.

The programme is designed to upskill participants and enhance their Curriculum Vitae whilst developing their skills, confidence and employability.

The programme covers a broad range of topics including:-

  • *Money Management Skills
  • *Job Searches
  • *Young Entrepreneur
  • *Applications
  • *Interview Techniques
  • *CV Writing
  • *Job Searches
  • *Career Pathways
  • *FA Coaching Level 1
  • *Literacy & Numeracy
  • *Links to local businesses

Participants will be involved in a number of Community Champion iniatives and volunteering projects over a number of months with City in the Community and the local community. Support over a sustained period of time with guidance and one to one sessions.
