We are supporting Manchester’s first Credit Union Awareness Week

We are proud to announce that WCHG is backing the city’s first ever Credit Union Awareness Week.

Manchester Credit Union helped save its worker bee members £3million last year and we have now partnered with them to campaign to help people break the cycle of high cost debt by rising awareness of the easy, ethical and affordable loans and savings.

Manchester Credit Union has a quick quote calculator on their website and its online services and applications make it easy for people to be able to find the right deal for them. Working closely with partner organisations like us means we can also help staff take out a loan and save directly through their pay packet.

Christine Moore, chief executive of Manchester Credit Union, said: “We are delighted WCHG is showing support to our Credit Union Awareness Week. Manchester Credit Union puts people at the heart of everything that we do and we want to make sure we help as much as we can to break the cycle of debt for Mancunians, so please take our #MoneyBee challenge.”

Credit Union Awareness Week will be help from October 17 to 21st #CUAW2016.

For more information on Manchester Credit Union and to take the #MoneyBee challenge with our online calculator go to www.manchestercreditunion.co.uk where there is also a competition to win a champagne afternoon tea for two at Gotham Hotel’s Honey Restaurant.
