Adaptations Officer – Fixed Term to 31 March 2020

Full time - 35 hours per week

Salary: £25,377.32 - £29,790.77 per annum, dependent upon skills

This is an exciting fixed term opportunity to support the work of the Adaptations Team.

Based at our Greenwood Road office this role is the main point of contact for the adaptations service and liaise with staff, tenants, MSIL and others agencies, including dealing with requests for adaptations and any subsequent queries that may arise.

Key Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to supporting the delivery of all aspects of the minor and major adaptations service in partnership with Manchester Service for Independent Living. Ensuring all ordering and invoicing processes associated with the adaptations service are effectively managed.  Monitoring and reporting on performance against budget and key performance indicators.

Successful candidates will have sound knowledge of building maintenance, knowledge of building contract terms and conditions and the ability to carry out domestic property inspections. Problem solving, organisational and IT skills together with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.   Excellent communication / customer service skills are also essential.
