Real Food Cooking Sessions at Ronald McDonald House

Real Food Wythenshawe will be hosting a number of cooking sessions at Ronald McDonald’s House in Manchester this February and March.

Ronald McDonald House provides a free 'home away from home' accommodation to families with children receiving treatment in the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and St Mary's Neonatal Unit.

Families travel to Manchester from across the North West, the UK and even internationally, so that their children can receive specialist treatment at The Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.

The House is open 365 days a year and equipped with everything you would find in a family home. Families can get a good night's sleep, prepare their own meals and feel at home, knowing that they're only a moments away from their children.

The Real Food team will be showcasing easy cooking and recipe ideas, as it’s so important to eat well during very stressful periods of your life. The team will be sharing easy and quick meals to prepare whilst they are at staying at McDonald House on;

10th February
3rd March
24th March

Nigel Wilson, Group Chief Executive said, “Ronald McDonald House offers such vital support for people who are going through what is a very tough time and we are delighted to offer our services to help support them. We are looking forward to cooking meals for the families and their children; we are always delighted to engage in positive community schemes such as this.”
