Tender opportunities

WCHG uses the ‘In-Tend’ electronic tendering system and all tendering opportunities will be published via the In-Tend portal. Use of the portal is free of charge. Please visit the link below to register:

As the UK has left the EU, we are not bound by EU Procurement legislation and no longer publish tenders in OJEU (“TED”).

However, we are required to follow UK Procurement legislation (“Public Contracts Regulations”) and advertise tenders over this threshold in the Government’s Find-A-Tender Service (“FTS”); in addition, any tender opportunities which are over the WCHG tendering threshold will also generally be found on Contracts Finder (links below). But please note that all tender submissions must be via the In-Tend portal.

WCHG also uses Frameworks from a number of consortia/contracting bodies, including - but not limited to – the following: Crown Commercial Services, JV North, ProcurePlus, Cirrus, Northern Housing Consortium, Fusion 21, Procurement For Housing, ConstructionLine.

Terms & Conditions

WCHG has a set of standard set of Terms & Conditions which apply to all purchases of goods and services:

Legislation and Corporate Policies

WCHG has a number of corporate policies which are linked to legislative requirements, Financial Regulations, or best practice. WCHG will require contracted suppliers to have similar policies in place or to comply with WCHG policies. These include but are not limited to:

  • Equality & Diversity
  • Human Rights and Anti-Slavery
  • Social Value (Social, Economic, and Environmental)
  • Anti-Fraud, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption
  • Data Protection

Most of WCHG’s corporate policies can be found via the link below:

Social Value

Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (WCHG) recognises that our suppliers can have a significant social, economic and environmental impact. We want all organisations bidding for work with us to consider how they can reduce any negative impacts and maximise positive impacts.

All WCHG tenders with a contract value of £50,000 or more will ask about social value.

There is guidance available to help you understand the social value you deliver and how you can respond to related tender questions on the GMCA website

Social Value can make Greater Manchester a better place - Greater Manchester Combined Authority (greatermanchester-ca.gov.uk)
