We’re excited to share that Benchill Community Centre has secured £299,513 from the Our Manchester Voluntary and Community Sector (OMVCS) Fund!
This funding means we can continue supporting people across the community through a range of groups and learning opportunities at the centre. Over the next three years, the funding will help run community groups, IT courses and Functional Skills sessions, as well as support our digital inclusion offering so more people can access the technology and skills they need.
Having access to digital skills and learning opportunities can make a real difference to the people of Wythenshawe. By supporting these activities, we’re helping people build confidence, learn new skills and stay connected.
Nicola Booth, Assistant Centres Manager, shared: “The team are thrilled to have been awarded OMVCS funding for the next three years. This grant means that our community groups and learning initiative can continue doing their amazing work of improving health and wellbeing and skills for the members of the local community.”
