  • Who are apprenticeships for?

    If you’re 16 or over and live in M22 or M23, you can apply, whatever your background or experience.

    There’s no upper age limit. Whether you’re just leaving school or looking for a change, we’d love to hear from you.

  • When can I apply?

    Recruitment usually happens in the summer.

    Keep an eye on our website and social media from spring for updates.

  • How long does an apprenticeship last?

    It depends on the trade:

    Electrical: around 4 years

    Grounds maintenance: around 2 years

    Most other trades (joinery, plastering, roofing, plumbing): around 3 years

  • Can I apply if I live outside Wythenshawe?

    Our apprenticeships are for local residents because we reinvest in our community.

    If you live outside the area, the National Apprenticeship Service has thousands of opportunities.

    You can also look at other housing associations and local councils for similar roles.

  • Am I guaranteed a job at the end?

    We can’t promise a job, but you’ll get support to help you into work, with us or elsewhere.

    Any suitable vacancies at the time will be open to apprentices.
