The Enterprise Centre has closed

The Enterprise Centre in Wythenshawe has closed.

Why has the Enterprise Centre closed?

We're transitioning to a new model of support for local enterprises and business. After reviewing options, the Enterprise Centre has been considered a good opportunity to provide new affordable homes. After talks with Manchester City Council and allocations, it was decided to take the opportunity to design a new housing development that will help our most in demand allocation needs and compliment the surrounding area. It will also protect and retain as many trees and green space as possible. The scheme will comprise of 23 homes consisting of seven homes for Shared Ownership and two bungalows, two houses and 12 apartments for Social Rent.

The properties are part of an exciting new wave of improved carbon designed homes including air source heat pumps instead of gas as well as electric vehicle charging facilities. The scheme will adhere to secure by design standards.

This new scheme will soon be going in for planning, after the local consultation process has now ended.
