Martine makes the shortlist – Women in Housing Awards 2023

The Women in Housing Awards celebrates the leaders, innovators and changemakers across the sector, championing the successes of women and sharing learning from teams and individuals.

The awards recognise achievements at all levels, from apprentice to customer to chief executive, and we are proud to share that our very own Martine Boschat has made the shortlist for Woman of the Year - social landlord/public body’.

Martine has spent the last 6years working on the Motiv8 programme, delivering a keyworker service to some of Manchester’s most complex and challenged participants. She’s led the Manchester wide team for the last 2years and achieved incredible results while inspiring and motivating her team.

Martine Boschat, Motiv8 Team Manager, said: "I was really shocked to be nominated and even more so to be shortlisted. The last 6years working on the Motiv8 programme have been incredibly rewarding. The team achieved so much, and I am proud to have played a small part in that."

Victoria McDowell, Head of Community Development, said: “Martine is a force of nature with a real commitment to learning and development - not just for herself but for the teams she leads. She gets the best out of her colleagues and is an inspiration to younger female housing professionals.”

The awards take place on the 26 June at Manchester Central and are hosted by news anchor Huw Edwards as part of the opening ceremony for Housing 2023.
