Update on Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC)

Following concerns about the presence of reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC) in schools, you may have also seen media coverage referencing the possibility of its use in social housing.

We are reviewing existing data and conducting routine investigations; however, we do not believe that we have defective RAAC materials in our homes. In addition to this, we are working in line with National Housing Federation guidance, as well as liaising with external consultants.

WCHG takes building safety seriously, and we will continue to keep our customers updated on this matter.
