WCHG proudly maintains top rating for governance and financial viability

We are delighted to share the Regulator of Social Housing has announced that Wythenshawe Community Housing Group Limited (WCHG) has retained its G1 V1 rating following an IDA (In-Depth Assessment). This is the highest governance and financial viability rating awarded in social housing and reflects the Regulator’s confidence in how we operate as a business.

The Regulator oversees housing associations to promote a viable, efficient and well-governed sector. Through IDAs, it explores compliance relating to the Economic Standards, the process for us also included being a pilot for the Consumer Standards, covering the following areas:

  • Strategy
  • Structure
  • Service outcomes
  • Risk Management
  • Transparency & Accountability
  • Financial Resilience
  • Governance

Group Chief Executive, Nick Horne, said: “I’m incredibly pleased that we have retained our G1 V1 rating after our In-Depth Assessment. This reflects the great work of colleagues and our Board and Committees, supported by myself and the Exec team.”
