WCHG staff short-listed in the Women in Housing Awards!

Wythenshawe Community Housing Group is delighted to announce that it has 3 colleagues short-listed in this year’s national Women in Housing Awards.  These prestigious awards celebrate and recognize the achievement of female professionals from all disciplines working within the Housing Sector across the UK.

Congratulations go to Bernie Woodward, Housing Manager in our Community Safety Team, who is shortlisted in the Best Community/Training Project to Rebuild Women’s Lives; Claire Bowes, Senior HR Business Partner for being short-listed in the Excellence in Career Development Model category and Jacqueline Naraynsingh in the category for the Best Project/Innovation for her work with the Real Food Wythenshawe project.

Nigel Wilson, Group Chief Executive of Wythenshawe Community Housing Group said; “We are very proud of our colleagues, who have fought off tough national opposition to be short-listed for these Awards.  They all work very hard for WCHG and the community we serve.  We wish them all the very best for the final later this year and hope they can follow in Victoria McDowell’s footsteps, Senior Community Investment Manager, who was a winner last year.”

The winners of Women in Housing will be announced in a ceremony at The Hilton Hotel in Manchester on 13th November 2014.
