Wythenshawe Community Housing Group Awarded Customer Service Excellence

Wythenshawe Community Housing Group is proud to announce it has recently been awarded a further compliance plus mark of distinction in its reaccreditation of the prestigious Customer Service Excellence Award for its services to tenants.

Customer Service Excellence is an official UK standard for public sector organisations. It measures quality of delivery, timeliness, information, professionalism and staff attitude in the provision of public services.

The accreditation challenges organisations to know their tenants better, to identify diverse groups, understand their needs and engage with them in a way that demonstrates they are serious about delivering a high standard and calibre of services tailored around tenants needs.

In order to achieve this standard the Group had to be successfully assessed against 57 separate elements on how its services are delivered to tenants.

The recent additional compliance plus marks were awarded for WCHG’s prestigious £20m Extra Care scheme, Village 135, which will provide much-needed homes for older people in Wythenshawe. This was judged to be going over and above for the community and future residents.

We were also very pleased to achieve the compliance plus marks for our Village 135 Extra Care Scheme, providing homes with a range of options for people to rent, purchase via shared ownership or outright sale.”
