Another £3 million secured for our customers this year

We’ve helped bring in over £3 million for you again this year – and we’re not stopping there 

We know that changes to welfare and rising living costs are affecting many people right now. That’s why we’ve been working alongside you to make sure you’re getting the money and support you’re entitled to. 

Over the past year, our Financial Inclusion team has helped get more than £3 million directly into the pockets of our customers – for the second year running. That’s money that’s made a real difference to people’s homes, finances and day-to-day lives. 

This includes support with things like: 

  • Personal Independence Payment (PIP) claims, Universal Credit claims, challenging benefit decisions (Mandatory Reconsiderations and appeals) – £2.1 million 
  • Housing Benefit and Universal Credit housing element to help with rent – £1.2 million 

These results show what’s possible when we work together and focus on what matters most – making sure you have the right support in place. 

With welfare changes continuing across the country, it’s more important than ever to know what help is available. Our team is here to help, whether you need advice, someone to talk things through with, or support making a claim.
