We’re looking for three experienced professionals to join the Board of a proposed new housing organisation following the potential merger of Southway Housing Trust and Wythenshawe Community Housing Group.
This is a rare opportunity to join the Board of a brand-new organisation and play a key role in shaping its strategic direction, culture and ambitions from day one. If the merger goes ahead, the new organisation will manage more than 20,500 homes across South Manchester, bringing together the strengths of both organisations to deliver even more for our customers, communities and colleagues.
We’re looking for people who are passionate about making a difference and can bring senior-level expertise in one of the following areas:
For all three roles, previous non-executive experience is desirable but not essential. Most of all, we’d love to hear from people who can bring a fresh perspective, constructive challenge and a commitment to helping our communities thrive.
Board Members will receive remuneration of £9,174 per year and the role requires a commitment of around 20 days annually.
Applications close at 9am on Monday 7th September 2026.
