CX Chat July 2025
Welcome to CX Chat July 2025. We’re sharing what we learned at our recent Customer Experience Committee meeting. The Customer Experience Committee is where residents and Board members challenge Wythenshawe Community Housing Group to do better. Holly Smith is a shared owner and a member of the Customer Experience Committee. She talks us through this month’s highlights.

“Hi, I’m Holly. I’ve lived in Wythenshawe for 12 years and I’m a shared owner with Wythenshawe Community Housing Group. I joined the committee because I wanted to see change where it matters.
Sharing your experiences with anti-social behaviour
Residents fill in surveys after reporting anti-social behaviour. We’ve seen that some people aren’t happy with how it's handled. We’ve asked managers to look into this and tell us why.
If you’ve reported anti-social behaviour, your experience matters. Please fill in the survey you get by text or email. Your feedback helps us make things better.
Spotlight on out of hours repairs
We also heard from the tenant Scrutiny Group. They’ve finished reviewing how emergency repairs are handled at evenings and weekends. The good news? This service is vital and, overall, residents think it’s high quality. Calls are answered quickly by people who know what they’re doing. Homes are made safe quickly. But there’s always room for improvement. Residents shared ideas to make the service easier for everyone to use. We approved every single idea. Managers will now put them into action.
Want to help drive change? The Scrutiny Group is always looking for more tenants to join. To find out more email getinvolved@wchg.org.uk or call 0300 111 0000.
Making services work for residents who have disabilities
We want to make sure our services meet the needs of residents with disabilities. If you have a disability, or someone in your household does, we want to hear from you. Sharing your experience with us helps us make things better. You can email Complaints&Praise@wchg.org.uk or call 0300 111 0000.
More mental health support for residents
Wythenshawe Community Housing Group has secured just under £200,000 as part of the Get Britain Working government initiative. The project will be delivered in partnership with Pathways mental health support and will help residents access help when they need it.
Want to Get Involved?
Whether you want to share your experiences, join a group, there are lots of ways to have your say. You can email getinvolved@wchg.org.uk or call 0300 111 0000.
Every voice matters, and it’s your feedback that makes the difference.”
