If your rent account is in credit you may be eligible for a refund, for example if you pay weekly and your account is more than a week in credit you can request a refund of the difference, or if you pay monthly and your account is more than 1 month in credit you can request a refund of the difference.

Processing refunds

We aim to process all refund requests as soon as possible subject to relevant queries being made.

For example if you are in receipt of Housing Benefit paid directly to WCHG we will need confirmation from Manchester Revenues and Benefits service that there are no overpayments due for repayment by WCHG before a refund can be made.
